it's inevitable that crypto product frontends will price access in stables and allow users to pay in whatever asset they want. pricing access to a product in a volatile asset is too bad of a user AND builder experience for it to remain the norm. speculators buy access they'll never use, drive up prices and lock out potential real users. bad for builders (who need real usage), bad for users (who can't get in). "what's wrong with adjusting access requirements as price changes?" if you're dropping access from 10k $token to 1k $token while nothing about the product changed, you're already pricing in stables — you're just using $token as an unstable middleman, introducing volatility risk for users and extra work for yourself. defi enables any product frontend to show price to access at a stable $25, yet users can still pay in whatever they want (ETH, USDC, ANON, HIGHER, VEIL). the tech for this already exists today. zero friction for users. zero complexity for builders. zero volatility risk for everyone.

Highly recommend the new Avicii documentary. Seeing Avicii in 2012 (my first concert) was such a defining moment in my life and in a large way what lead me down the path of discovering my passion (music). Countless memories with friends at the shows and a hallmark example of music being able to transcend borders. Documentary is extremely well told and very accurately depicts the rise to stardom followed by the never ending pressure that comes with it. We'll never know the full story but I'm of the belief that his life ended in a truly peaceful place. Will go down as one of the greatest to ever do it and an artist that changed the game forever. RIP to an absolute legend.

Question for all Nigerians 🇳🇬 here on Farcaster. I saw a documentary about Lagos yesterday. (It was more of a documentary about the people and culture of the city) Lagos is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. (There are districts that are larger than Berlin) What interests me is which industries are emerging and where you see rapid development (locally). What technologies are emerging and popular. Where do you see the development going? Service industry, processing fabric, or raw materials industry. We have been looking at Asia in recent decades, I am interested in what the future of Africa (esp. Nigeria) looks like.

Coinbase had to remove staking from my account because of the BitLicense here in NY (classic gov protecting me from profits). Where are you earning safe yield on your ETH?
