To me, consistency + training correctly is the key here Incorporating speed workouts with long runs and increase weekly mileage systematically helps a lot My most valuable lesson is NEVER rush your pace/intensity too quick. This will result in injury and it sucks

Stay consistent, train progressively, add cross-training for strength, rest and recover, set realistic goals, and enjoy the process! Everyone progresses at their own pace.
