Favorite Christmas movies: It's A Wonderful Life, Scrooged, Muppet Christmas Carol, Children of Men, a new favorite: The Green Knight Christmas Romantic Comedies: While You Were Sleeping is pretty good! And When Harry Met Sally is an all-timer and has scenes around Christmas and NYE, so it has similar vibes, maybe something we watch the week inbetween Xmas and NY.

There are dozens of black and white Christmas classics, I would say those are the only bearable holiday movies (aside from Muppet Christmas). Christmas in Connecticut is a good one.
