This is one of the main reasons why I found it hard to regularly come back to BlueSky. Nothing to do with Elon. The diversity of opinions & content there just wasn’t great. Nostr has a similar problem imo, it’s just a different bubble.

While there is room for improvement, this is something where the FC community is doing better than other alternative social networks out there imo.

A big problem on BlueSky to me is also the lack of diversity when it comes to content, opinions and political orientation. But it’s a functional, sort-of-decentralized social network with a lot of users and they deserve a lot of credit for that.
