In the past few weeks, three different people have separately recommended that I read this book about the past and future of the internet by @cdixon.eth. I have a rule that after three recommendations it is a sign so I am planning to get a copy and read it. Looks interesting and I feel that anyone who spends a lot of time on the internet (most of us now, really) should try and understand it in a deep manner rather than just interacting on surface level.

highly recommended if you care about our little corner of the internet it's a really great read and well-structured. I used it to teach a course on blockchain at the University of Barcelona, and they got it fast, you have great examples on why do we need to change things and how to do it

I made more highlights in that book than any other in recent memory. Not so much that I learned anything new (I’ve been a student of blockchains for sometime now) but because he explains it with such clarity that a lot of things clicked for me in ways it hasn’t before and it helped me craft a narrative for how to speak to crypto skeptics. Enjoy it!

The book is good: it provides a very clear articulation of the value prop behind blockchain & decentralization tech. One which non-crypto folks should even appreciate.

It’s approachable for all levels - some parts may be boring based on your level of crypto interaction and expertise. I highly recommend it as the “first primer”

It’s a good book. I would say it’s good for folks who are looking to onboard to the new idea that crypto/web3/creator economy brings, but it also helps with folks who are looking to onboard others. 50 $degen 50 $wild 🍖x50
