No previous DAO experience so I suppose the learning curve has just been steeper than the force of inertia. 

I am interested so it’s just a matter of time I suppose.

I think about it less like committing and more like a membership

If it is a Farcaster development foundation I would donate. But I don’t feel I can commit to participating in it.

Aside from the numbers, the tokens are completely fungible. As a result, I feel no sense of urgency to ape in. I can get the same thing tomorrow if I choose.

eventually as FC gets bigger, it’ll grow from one community into many, and many will have norms and beliefs that conflict with ours

purple is the the strongest on-chain affiliation of that early community’s members

yeah i’d say so! a lot of them are in it at least… haven’t had any purple-specific meetups yet AFAIK 👀

good questions! the dao and purple are the same. it works just like nouns— one new member per day, minting at https://purple.construction. when you mint, you join the dao.

Is the DAO separate from Purple? Still learning here, buying the NFT lets me join it? And where?

My candid response: I prefer to support directly or build myself, not a fan of coordination in closed clubs, and mostly I’m butt hurt my application didn’t get any vote for retroactive funding
