Just got rejected after a 3-month, 9-interview process. I am disappointed but mainly in myself for sticking around for 9 interviews. The rejection reason was on my resume from day 1 which makes it even more aggravating.

is 9 interviews a thing? I haven't interviewed for a job in 20 years yet that seems rather extreme unless your getting picked to fly a space shuttle. I am a bit of a fatalist and think things including jobs happen for a reason, often the right timing. here's hoping what turns up will be the right opportunity.

That's ridiculous, never heard of 9 stages! I would defo follow up for some more constructive feedback, they are likely using that reason as a cop out. After all that time and effort you deserve to know why it didn't work out.

I am sorry to hear this but welcome to web3 unfortunately. In one of my situations with one of the biggest companies in the space, 3 months, 5 interviews, the CMO didnt show up on the reference call that he organised cause he was on holidays with the kids. Then i was told i was overqualified anyway

Absolutely brutal. I've gone as far as 5, and it was devastating. Keep your head up! At the end of the day all of trials make us stronger, better and faster - and when fortune closes one door it opens another
