Just got rejected after a 3-month, 9-interview process.

I am disappointed but mainly in myself for sticking around for 9 interviews.

The rejection reason was on my resume from day 1 which makes it even more aggravating.

is 9 interviews a thing?

I haven't interviewed for a job in 20 years yet that seems rather extreme unless your getting picked to fly a space shuttle.

I am a bit of a fatalist and think things including jobs happen for a reason, often the right timing.  

here's hoping what turns up will be the right opportunity.

I am including screenings and such…but in general I think the interview requirements have crept up over the last couple of years.  I used to get annoyed at 6-interview processes.
