Literal goal: - product roadmap (~6-18mth) - only work in vscode for codebase, wiki, and writing on “blog”, & farcaster - continue casting @ 25% of now Conscious of time mngt & “time-wasters”, looking more for

I should add, I have no problem going up to brink of death, but need to be revived just to see some things through. Part above goal includes food and waste.

Try dark mode. https://nelsonquest.com/guide/Dark-Mode-2020-English.pdf But it would require giving up social media. Essentially you focus on one goal with a deadline and give up every possible distraction, including friends & family.

Do the thing. Just like playing chess doesn’t make you smarter, doing other things won’t get your work done. Pursuit of flow is idiotic, flow is at best a side effect if it’s anything at all. Just do the work that has to be done and then do the thing that comes after it. Who cares if you are in flow or no

Nice. Suggestions: -eat the same set of 1-4 meals -wear the same outfit (wash obvi) to minimize decisions -don’t use alarm clock…tune in with body’s energy flows -heat and cold therapy (eg sauna and cold showers) -associate certain activities with certain locations (eg code in the kitchen, write at the coffee

My friend owns a (surf) guesthouse. I'd find myself very productive being in a place where I can stay focused on my goals but reminded to surf and eat good food 🙈

recommend journaling every AM: - how are you feeling? - what did you accomplish yday? - what will you tackle today? - something you learned/are inspired/motivated by if you can put something at stake, fear of loss is a powerful motivator. same w/ fear of letting someone down, if you can get an accountabilibuddy

I’m in a similar boat - having 1-2 achievable goals every day and giving ✅ if I got em and ❌ if not has been helpful. On misses I’ll try to rethink some strategy / roadmapping

Some more: - Have the day scheduled in chunks of 30min the past evening and establish your single top priority - Use some pomodoro timer and leverage ultradian cycles (aka make sure to pause every 90min when you feel « tired » -> NSDR) - Move often to keep your brain oxygenated - prioritize sleep btw 10pm - 2am h

Clear out entire schedule of meetings, work on the most important thing ruthlessly. If someone absolutely needs you they can try calling you and pick up if it’s in flow. Maker schedule. Having absolutely zero meetings is ultimate hack.

It's about balance. Most of the great thinkers, artists, doers, in history praised walking. Don't burn out, stay healthy. Sieze the early mornings than staying late at night. I'm speaking thru experience

Not to be one of those guys, but an ice bath / cold shower within 5 min of waking really sets the tone for the day. Start with a hard thing, makes it easier to do the next hard thing.
