lots of comments about how β€œit’s over for FT” despite its significant mindshare, so I guess we’ll see how this move plays out. they managed to generate significant protocol volume and revenue, imo they (at least) deserve to be taken seriously despite their shitposting facade on twitter.

This is the continued crypto drama show about an overhyped project run by a clueless, self-destructive narcissist who's now burning his project's strongest bridge for no reason. Unfortunately this show is growing predictable, stale and suffering from low viewership. And I contend there's better things to watch.

Understandable, consumer apps should own their whole stack otherwise they risk being farmed by the underlying chain (they bootstraped the whole Base ecosystem)
