In a remarkable act of self control (for me) this morning I made an executive decision I simply do not need to know WHY a bunch of different mosquito borne illnesses are on the rise in 🇺🇸 (But they are so wear bug spray or whatever)

i have pioneered a cologne here in my kitchen that is mosquito repellent. been using it for 2 weeks. it works. might start selling it.

It’s the climate. Dengue is out of control in Mexico again too. Most of my family here has caught it in the last 2 years. Bathing in DEET right now

Aedes aegypti, the mosquitos with the white legs. Those are the ones to watch out for. Spent 2 years in Grenada and a couple friends there got Dengue and Chikungunya (both also on the rise here). It’s been >10 years and they still have muscle and joint soreness.
