It’s great you can maintain this. Probably a sign of mental health. I find it’s harder to tap into the longer I live. Wonder is more vivid if we immerse in it. Fear and anxiety habits distract from wonder.

When you put it like that, it sounds kind of generalizing and somewhat superimposed, but I don't really buy it. I think the excitement is bound to something specific and that should be mentioned. How would the excitement change if that thing would be removed? Purely hypothetically and not meant so seriously, just being a bit provocative 😏 I'm trying Weltschmerz today, as @mariuswatz suggested. At least up until lunchtime.
