i think it used to be easier to imagine that
and it's a cultural problem that we can't get behind that

i vividly remember being excited about the future when i was a kid. about how things would be different and more cool. 

but no one has that feeling anymore

I am uncontrollably excited about the future. Straight up boundless child like wonder

Optimism has been a survival strategy for me, but I have lost it of late. I'm trying to get to a Hope is irrelevant place, and just be in the present.
