okay, airb&b is booked @clanker team is excited to announce we're hosting some of our favorite ecosystem founders (we love you all, dw) at Clank HQ this tomorrow through the 15th shoutout community support madman @qliqk who heard a rumor that @nt was touching down to ship @clankfun x clanker for a couple days now we get to build with @derek of /nativefun fame and @carc.eth, longtime proxystudio sub, shipping around collective consciousness with @degenos we might even get to meet the god @rish who has been enormously helpful on the backend with @neynar (subtly also a clanker interface, iykyk) this came together fast, we'll get a bigger crew together next time. I'm just amazed that people are flying from around the world to come ship with me and Jack. we're used to picking our noses & making magic in my mom's spare conference room, not used to hosting bullish early stage founders bootstrapping projects with organic growth good to learn new tricks though. ty to @btayengco & @dish for staying nimble

Do you know how much $$$ you need to never work again? I started tracking my expenses at the end of 2021, so finally I have 3-year statistics. This is how much I've spent each year, not including travel: - 2022 - $8400 - 2023 - $6612 - 2024 - $5876 My lifestyle has gotten more conscious and sustainable throughout the years, explaining the downward trend that contradicts inflation. Travel cost me either $900 or $2500 a year - depending on the number and intensity of trips. So basically if I had $10k a year I would feel very comfortable, with a bit to spare 💜 To get that much in passive income I would need to invest from $100k (10% APY) to $200k (5% APY). Which is what some people earn from a couple of shitcoin trades 😆 And if I want to have kids someday, that amount would probably have to be doubled. My wish for this year is to start receiving that passive income, hopefully I'll be able to amass enough capital 🙏 How big is that number for you? Or maybe you already live on passive income?

Why aren't we voting on the zkEVM yet? The zkEVM stack solves core the challenge of digital voting: ZK proofs enable secure vote verification, while the EVM ensures integrity. With zkRollups like Scroll, it can process millions of votes instantly at a very low cost, which is enough for national elections. Think of it as a digital ballot box: anonymous yet verifiable. Votes are EVM state transitions, with ZK proofs checking eligibility privately and ensuring integrity. Smart contracts count transparently and L1 provides immutable records. These cryptographic systems are battle-tested through DeFi. While technically sound, we still need better digital identity, UX, and regulations. But account abstraction and ZK advances are closing these gaps fast. The infrastructure exists: zkEVM could revolutionize democratic participation like TCP/IP did for information.
