the google gemini mobile app sucks and its material designs fault

material design stopped being good 5+ year ago and at this point it’s really holding google back

i think it was good for 1-2 years but i feel those those were regrettable years of UI design history

no it’s okay coinbase can keep their design system hopefully for a very long time

It needs to be burned along with the Coinbase design system (ducks)

material design peaked and then google just kept… materializing

Google needs to evolve from that design system
