I’m so glad you asked. Thank you. The crop is sometimes annoying. Sometimes the preview doesn’t show. Objkt guilty this week. But an upload generally looks better and when we quote tweet art, the art stays visible I’d love an option to x out of the preview when I need

It’s a quality thing for me. Lately, I can’t even use a frame to post images bc the quality is too high and it’s too much work to compress each image size down.

Hate to do it (ugly af) but did it last week because of frame image instability and because frames don't show in quote casts Frames in quotes would be the ideal imo

The frame crops the photo or video, I can bet this is what is happening 95% of the cases especially in the photo/art communities

it also allows someone to click the image to view it larger fullscreen or full browser on desktop (that would be a really cool feature for frames that display photo slideshows)

Quality. I also wanna be able to post links as mere links w/o having them transformed into a frame for me. e.g., sometimes, I want to post 3:1 images, & @zora auto-frames do not allow it. Hence, I post the image in full res here, and have to add the link, too—which is directly turned into a frame, which I do not like

Love frames, but: - frames sometimes break - frames sometimes crop in ways we don't expect (even 1:1) - frames sometimes perform differently on mobile vs. desktop so a lot of the time it's a backup plan to make sure the post 'works' in all circumstances as I'm often sharing something that took a long time to create

Definitely the cropping here as well 🙌 especially true for mint frames where the art is important, if the art is cropped by the frame it is not a true representation of the art being minted

Quality / context - posting full image provides better quality for viewing and may be more related to the post if no interaction required I really try to do one or the other though…if my intention is for interactivity I will choose frame. If my intention is to share, I will not use a frame / link

I did it once because a in a channel cast was only eligible for rounds.wtf with an embed. Just the mint frame did not count(setting) so I included both to participate in the round and allow users to easily mint
