Another $150 in gift cards purchased and ready to be shipped out to evacuees who have lost everything in the fires. All of this came from tips and mints - you guys are awesome ❤️ $DEGEN tipping making a real impact - already nearly 15,000 $DEGEN in the special fund ( https://impact.abundance.id/ ) which enables us to continue doing this. The initial shock is wearing off now, and people who are impacted are coming through the doors all the time, many of whom have lost everything and are in emotional distress. Grateful that we are pulling together on here to support evacuees and all affected by the fires 🫂

From today until the foreseeable future, all updates that I was casting from here will be casted from @venicehelpinghub $DEGEN can be tipped to either me, or the @venicehelpinghub (the relief fund wallet is connected to both accounts) Also - THANK YOU if you have tipped. We are up to 32,000 $DEGEN (~$320) in tips alone, without the @microsub ! All of this is going towards costco bulk orders / fuel for drivers / niche lost items

So far we have raised $1,000 from tips / donations / mints - all of this goes to supplies for the Venice Hub, where there is a system in place… - families impacted by the fires complete the intake form, with essentials they need - volunteers collect all the essentials from the floor - a volunteer driver drives the essentials to the family in need 🤗 With the /impact fund and the /microsub (ty @abundance & @alinaferry ) there is now a way to receive tips & use them for supplies at the end of the month 🪄

Starting the day with the /impact LA Wildfire relief fund By logging in to their website https://impact.abundance.id/ and going to 'Auto-fund' I am able to auto-allocate my leftover $DEGEN and $HAM As I've said before this is a marathon, not a sprint, and this kind of thing will allow for sustained relief support over the next few months while people in LA are re-homed / rebuilding Thank you @abundance for setting this up, you're awesome !

- ~9 evacuation centres set up around the city - countless donation drop offs in different communities - AirBnB offered ~25,000 homes at discounted rates - local restaurants opening doors & driving food trucks up to disaster zone

The community response to this horrific week has been incredible, with people coming together all over the city to donate clothes, drop off supplies, and support each other, showing the good side of humanity in the face of disaster. 100% of proceeds from the mint in the attached frame will be distributed to communities in need, and is dedicated to the Firefighters working to contain the fires. Each frame has a gofundme link, linking to dear friends and community members who have lost everything over the last week.
