Question for everyone building mini apps and especially for folks building for FarCon's builder day. What are the biggest frustrations you've encountered? Everything goes. Tooling, Docs, SDK, capabilities/features, distribution, data, analytics, etc.

Can't seem to find the tool to generate the `accountAssociation` details for `.well-known/farcaster.json`.

hey @gabrielayuso.eth i have a frustration w /atlas mini app flow that i discussed with dan yesterday and fortunately he said it could be fixed !! it relates to our previous conversation re sending DCs programmatically from a mini app, i.e. sharing a mini app w a friend from inside a mini app 1. i want users to be able to send their friends DCs *from themselves* programmatically without creating a group w atlas which has the api key (it's too complex for users to give us an api key) 2. when a mini app DC is sent programmatically, the url should be parsed out if the mini app embeds correctly (i.e. like a cast) bc url opens as an external url currently from DCs lmk if any of that isn't clear and tyvm !!

debugging locally is the biggest challenge. smaller gripes are (a) must manually download user data, (b) no timestamps

Shared some feedback today to @linda @pirosb3 from the pov of somebody who had 0 previous exposure to frames and miniapps and wanted to learn: - too many options and not completely sure about the canonical way of building miniapps: Minikit, Farcaster create, neynar create, with a wide variation between all options - biggest blocker: dumb me didn’t know I can’t develop a miniapp in isolation but need to do so in the Warpcast developer tool 🤦‍♂️ it’s somewhere but too deep in the docs (and no feedback) - not necessarily Farcaster related but the wallet options in Minikit too restrictive to Base wallet

It's hard to have many frustrations because 90/100 of the mini-app is outside of the client context. So in theory all the SDK, tooling, etc should make just a tiny fraction of your mini-app code.

Auth for sure. I’m building a credit system in a database — Send USDC, get in-app credits, spend credits when you use the AI features. There are times where it’s confusing to know if the auth is secure enough to spend the database credits or if I’m leaving it open to attack.

I might be doing it wrong, but trying to test from a “Preview” environment in Vercel doesn’t work.
