There’s two possibilities: - your hardware wallet was one of the ones that used poor entropy in generating a seed phrase and finally ended up in the carousel of wallets that got popped - the grimmest possibility, one I’ve been warning about

Very sorry @farcasteradmin.eth, that sucks. Others have asked for it too, and I know it’s probably the last thing on your mind rn, but a postmortem would be helpful to others at some point if you feel like writing one up. OGs with presumably solid opsec getting their cold wallet drained is always a head scratcher

Damn... Sorry to hear that. Would you mind sharing the address? Maybe someone could trace the funds. I think @zachxbt could help you investigating this case.

How? Did you use the cold wallet for transactions? Was there a seed phrase stored on a cloud/password manager? Was it accessible to close friends and family?

If this isn't satire, there were many wallets drained after the LatPass breach. Tayvano followed this closely. If you stored you private key on LastPass it could have been swiped that way.

The probability of two users generating the exact same private keys is extremely low, but not impossible. This is the only explanation I could think of considering that you never used or exposed your wallet to some vulnerabilities or exploits.
