To me, the biggest problem with "proof of human origin" is that "human-created" vs "AI-created" is a false binary. Most art and code I create involves many rounds of interaction between me and models. The Tiergarten in Berlin has become one of my favorite parks and running tracks. Even though the longest (good) loop is only 4.3km, repeating it six times somehow doesn't feel overly repetitive. And today I learned that it has a long and fascinating history, and most of the trees there today are under 80 years old.

I think there is less contradiction between these than it might seem. We need more "return to cypherpunk roots" on some axes (eg. L2s getting to stage 1, inclusion lists, light clients...) and more UX focus on some axes (most notably, making cross-L2 more seamless).

An important part of cultural awareness is understanding that different cultural spheres can use the same word in different ways. For example, in most European languages, "actual" means "current", and "concurrency" means "competition". In the crypto space, "DAO" means "project", and "official" means "scam".

When debugging a ZKP verifier, make sure to keep checking not just that the proof verifies on valid inputs, but also that the proof verification returns an error on invalid inputs (or with nonsensical tweaks to the verification mechanism).
