Anc Greek "timé" is "st's honor -> value -> price" Fwiw, English language etymologists believe "time" comes from Old English "tīd", which is related to German "Zeit", which traces to Indo-European "deh₂y-"... The figure of Death (hooded skeleton with a scythe) is usually called Father Time, and is descended from Cronus/Saturn, but that's apparently due to a confusion in ancient times of Cronus for Chronos (the time god).
