The very most important planning you can do is find the most critical people you will be working with (customers, platforms, partners, etc) and figure out whether your incentives are and can be and will remain aligned. 

Predicting future actions and conditions is nearly impossible, but if your incentives are aligned with the people who matter most, you’ll always figure things out together.
