People who like Apple's Foundation series -- have you read the books? I tried Season 1 and first episode of Seasons 2 and that it was terrible.

The books are my favourite sci-fi *anything* ever. (Though I’ve read only 3). I think the show is really good. SPOILERS BELOW MAYBE

I'd like to watch it because of its production value and I'm a fan of Lee Pace but I couldn't get into it.

huge fan of the TV show so this is making me think i should probs read the books. My cousin has loved the books forever and does enjoy the TV show, which is what made me watch it.

Have not read the books. I really liked Season 1. Having trouble maintaining interest in Season 2.

I haven’t read them (yet). Season 2 started really badly but I’ve found the recent few episodes very enjoyable.

I have not, my partner did because he liked the show so much he wanted to know the source material. But he didn’t like the books as much, he said they were really hard to keep up with. He kept a notebook where he would do a summary after each chapter and said that helped. That seemed like too much work for me 😬
