People who like Apple's Foundation series -- have you read the books? I tried Season 1 and first episode of Seasons 2 and that it was terrible.

The books are my favourite sci-fi *anything* ever. (Though I’ve read only 3). I think the show is really good. SPOILERS BELOW MAYBE

- It’s absolutely stunning. There is nothing that looks like it in 4K. - Some subplots that have almost nothing to do with the books are amazing e.g genetic dynasty, Dermezel’s entire story, Bel Riose’s arc & many more. I don’t think it can be as great as the books though. Season 2 has some meh
