Convince me I’m wrong: not a ton of incentive to be first to AA wallets given security risk / lack of Lindyness.

Highly doubt the the AA spec/ EntryPoint contract itself is flawed; it's getting a lot of very pro eyes on it. It's true that a contract wallet has implementation risk in a way an EOA does not. The solution, imo, is to Keep It Simple

What projects that want to use AA should start with is something simple stupid and that is upgradeable. Wait for the landscape of AA paradigms to mature before adding complexity. The cool thing is you can bundler ops like approve and transfer into a single UserOp which will improve UX on day one.

AA is an umbrella of lots of cool functionality, but at the core is basically device key management. The surface area for that is not huge.

What’s the security and lindy issues you have in mind? A private key is the worst security model, and allowing users to change implementations/fallback handlers lets you adapt to whatever becomes the standard

Getting first mover advantage with a use case that benefits from having the app pay for the transaction instead of the user could be interesting.

I have a feeling that the upcoming safe wallet will be pretty dope and gather lindy quickly.

Challenge accepted: There is a ton of incentive to be the first AA wallet given that: - You can build embedded wallets much more easily (web3auth alike) - Paymaster is an amazing feature (especially for embedded wallets) and you can be the first to utilize it and tap into new kinds of users

I don't think AA wallets are really "wallets" in the traditional sense They are like Magic Links, it's an authentication solution to make apps more useable Like Hosted Gmail vs Running your own server So I agree with you but for a different reason (I think)

The only angle I might take here is that the current Wallet experience prohibits 80% of humans from wanting to use it. So a 30% chance of failure on something five times as many people might use is totally fine. The baseline for crypto right now is failure relative to the global population.
