Little Blue Truck is great and fun for me to read because it’s in iambic pentameter Little Blue Truck https://a.co/d/9g92QLJ K I dunno if the last part is true but still very sing-songy

Where’s The Green Sheep. Was a huge favourite in my house! We occasionally made it “go on holiday” when we were going crazy reading it multiple times a day. The other one I adore is no longer in print. The Biggest Sandwich Ever. I have a copy from when I was little and loved reading it to my boys.

I love everything Sandra Boynton does. Great art, cute rhymes, and you quickly memorize them so you can read them with your eyes closed when it's been one of those days.

We kept checking out this book from the library and the librarian said, “you’re the only person who’s ever checked it out, just keep it.” It’s singsongy and weird https://www.amazon.com/New-York-English-Chattanooga-Creek

I’m pretty sure “Pimpa” is translated to English. My two kids devoured the whole series. They basically learned reading on them. Every page is half picture, half text (big text)

Baby Beluga is my low key favorite: has a great song and beautiful illustrations, so you can read or sing it depending on what you're feeling http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/baby-beluga-raffi/1100195017
