Cinematic Masterpiece 🙏🏼 I grew up on the OG/Book and it was nice to finally see some creatives go after it again and completely nail it as the OG did 44 years ago 🤘🏼

The finale just didn’t do it for me. 

BUT! I appreciate a 99% foreign language show grabbing the US audience’s attention the way it did. It’s no a small feat.

The ending felt a bit weird.  I didn’t finish the book. But it seemed like they packed so much into that final 10 minutes convo

the character development (e.g. Yabushige near the end) was really compelling.

Episode 8 was a 10/10 episode. but yeah overall, 8 is fair score.

The book was 9/10

at least a 9, had it all. Fish out of water story, political subterfuge, samurais what more could you need?

I did feel that Blackthrones character development was a little lacking
