Do all of the extra fancy, slow gear-forward intermediary steps really change the chemistry / flavor / extraction versus a normal paper filter and a Chemex pour over? Not to be a naysayer, but this feels like a coffee process for those with lots of extra disposable income, time and no kids.

my kitchen (but I’m very 80/20 with coffee now, none of the whisk, leveling, water treatment, etc etc. just fresh coffee n good grinder)

I went through the trouble of weighing grounds, dialing in grinder etc over the first couple weeks of having an espresso machine. If you’re not just eye baling it from there you probably have the memory of a goldfish That being said, would try this coffee haha
