Assuming you are being sincere: 1. Market your greatest asset - users and vibes. "FC is a cool place with cool people, it’s where you want to be." 2. People somehow connected to your best users. Friends and family, sure, but also people in their local areas/clubs/communities. Leveraging URL->IRL vibes feels right in this regard. People's fav memories are IRL, just facilitate more potential IRL memories with FC. It cements relationships and attracts more people who want to be "in". I was invited to FC by @ting but it wasn't until @ispeaknerd.eth invited me to an FC meetup that i started to vibe.

okay its late on the east coast. obvious answer is to sponsor a professional fishing league. farcaster, too easy, Next I would target professional corn hole, probably move onto horseshoes if that's still a thing. reckon there's a Trekkie angle in there as well.

2. To niche communities, e.g. lesser wrong/sci fi/fantasy readers & writers Would not call it marketing tho. IMO marketing is more of a to the mass effort to raise general awareness, harder to appeal to specific communities/user group

i think it's quite complex since social media doesn't necessarily target a single audience. speaking for myself – i've known twitter because of other sources referencing it everywhere: youtube, telegram, instagram etc. i believe it should be a long-running SEO game to attract more organic traffic. SEO expert should be able to analyze such. Might onboard a friend of mine who's an expert in this field and can analyze keywords/links etc.

Not a big fan of the idea. If I had to: 1. Open platform for devs. 2. Devs :-) 1. Anonymous, unstoppable information distribution 2. All kinds of whistleblowers, activists in oppressive regimes, etc.

NGOs that want to raise donations and build an audience of support (they have a clear use case with the new 'pay' option and it makes for a great way to onboard non-crypto ppl)

1. Farcaster 2024 is the single greatest opportunity for creators to become influential online today because A. it’s a new network with wide open opportunity to become an authority on any subject as few Channels and niches have been developed seriously B. Influencers here are less likely to be deplatformed and content de-ranked because the follow graph lives in the protocol not a company’s algo/db C. FC clients honor follow graph more than Short video platforms do, making FC followers more meaningful than TikTok/Twitter followers (closer to youtube/newsletter subs on the spectrum) D. Many FC creators are monetizing handsomely via DTC small businesses and new subscription tools akin to patreon. E. Active dev community open to helping good communicators build software 2. To aspiring content creators frustrated with other platforms, but especially those who like text (tweeters, bloggers, redditors, quora ers, etc)

Who: highly respected (vague) influencers to cast here What: perhaps a way to auto push their tweets over here and casts to Twitter Why: so that we can get a higher level of content we currently lack Potential Results: they see that they can manage multiple platforms with little extra work over time they might make FC the main platform of choice because of secondary features

1. Benefits of being decentralised 2. Brands & communities Quality DAU come as part of a community, and brands drive these communities. Decentralised networks have everything to attract brands, however every day I have to pitch (even to Web3 Brands) Farcaster before pitching @anser-social.eth . Happy to join forces if you want to 🤝

We hear the same thing in NFT and token projects where people have over invested. “Marketing” just means “number go up.” And I would guess anyone saying “Farcaster should do marketing” has over invested in an FC community coin, protocol or NFT and wants DAUs to go up so the price pumps. That’s all it is.

I would target small creators on platforms like Twitch and Patreon. If they see a platform where they can “own” their audience more in the form of channels/etc - I think the selling point is already there. It’s just about getting the word out that it’s now possible to “own” part of a social network.
