frankly, i don't trust this metric at all. He is saying that he removed a lot of bots but the bots seem completely rampant in my feed. Many of these bots even have a blue tick probably because they can possibly make thousands every month by scamming people. These bots appear above real non-paying users in comments now.

Whole branches of the social graph are enervated. But I think there is a growing epicenter around Elon and his memeish, reactionary takes (anti-woke, etc.). The accounts on standby to celebrate his posts appear to make a vibrant community, and one that I and many are shielded from and ignorant of. Also, ChatGPT.

Yes good quality content on Twitter is dead. What's left is bad takes from ultra conservatives + millions of bots. I know the cleanup he mentions doesn't exclude many bots because bots show up even in notifications let alone hidden replies.
