Sure, but better to be clear upfront when we start tweak the spam labeling algorithms. re: hall monitor — yes, I am. Quality is what drives growth, that requires rules and taste. If you don't like those rules / taste, use or build another client. Beauty of a decentralized system. And to be clear: if you're just casting in your own timeline or channels, algo won't care about it. It's when you start taxing other people's attention (and potentially making the experience worse for others), that you might get labeled.

there should be a process to it. yes, you’re labeled as spam. to remove this label do this and state how long it will take for a user to leave spam.

This is a gigantic joke why do you work so hard to drive users away from the platform? You FORCE people to follow those accounts when they join, and now they are going to get Labeled as spam for interacting with those same accounts you FORCED them to follow? I am a new user, i said hi to a big account (i was forced to follow) or whatever silly thing comes to my mind and i get spam labeled, from now on noone see my casts, i leave the platform and tell everyone else is trash. KEK

If I’m being honest rn, getting into the spam list should serve more as deterrence to others(brewing bad actors). That way it would continually drive the qualitative algorithm we so desire. More or less like inducing orderliness through sanctions. But what I feel(even though I know you prolly would take it as a grain of salt) is that there could be warning strikes(getting them into a temporary limbo list) for the first 2 times which would have a duration attached. And when they keep spamming right after then there could be a decision as you deem fit. I mean this is a decentralized space but a little level of compliance in the most basic ways shouldn’t be so difficult to secure. This is just a thought, not like it matters or anything xD.

It's limited to few people This situation has made Warpcast more difficult. Newcomers have no hope
