Upcoming channel changes

We're *previewing* some upcoming changes so people 1) can understand and 2) provide feedback.

These changes are not launching yet. It will be a couple weeks. There will also be a bunch of communication to channel owners. 

After reading the entire doc, feel free to reply to with feedback or send me a DC. I've tried to answer a lot of common questions in the FAQ.

@samkuhlmann and I are currently building features integrating channels with DAO contracts and are interested in early access to the membership APIs

@jtgi will automod have something like a frame to apply for membership that then sends a DC to mods to approve / deny?

think that would help channels. This frame could then be pinned.

otherwise I just expect automod to work as is and just add people who comply with moderation rules ? How's that going to work?
