What's more important as a project on FC - growing a brand account or growing a channel? My gut says channel but curious to hear what people think.

Definitely channel. Combines customer support, product advocacy, feature requests & feedback, etc. Let’s you build a community around your project, and feels more authentic vs brand account

You're right, it's def gonna be /channel – bc it allows your users to take initiative and generate conversation themselves. The @handle is feeling more and more like Customer Service + PR Announcement vehicle.

Neither. As a founder, the most important to your project is growing your own account.

How do you securely share a brand account? For example we operate with high opsec so we dont see a secure way to share the @deca account within the team That’s why I’ve been more focused on my account here vs on X

def channel I believe Farcaster has a unique community, at least for now. everyone is a builder, and personal stories are important. from another hand channels might evolve into startups in the future. It's a rough analogy, but I sense a similarity with the early days of Instagram.

Channel πŸ’― I’d keep it agnostic, not even a hint that I own it. E.g : /taco βœ”οΈ vs. /tacobell ❌ Perfect way of growing a large(r) audience, collect unbiased insights, use tactics to churn people in etc. But brands are not this brave, so whatever πŸ˜…
