What's more important as a project on FC - growing a brand account or growing a channel? My gut says channel but curious to hear what people think.

Channel 💯 I’d keep it agnostic, not even a hint that I own it. E.g : /taco ✔️ vs. /tacobell ❌ Perfect way of growing a large(r) audience, collect unbiased insights, use tactics to churn people in etc. But brands are not this brave, so whatever 😅
