That would resolve a huge barrier to entry for a lot of people. Every time i even think about the cost of doing business on ETH (transaction, bridge fees, etc.) i cringe. Imagine having $100 and half is taken from fees. Not a good sell for normies.

If ETH, open the browser, go to Matcha.xyz initiate a cross chain swap of ETH from one L2 to the other. Cost is almost nothing, slippage is almost zero

I use across to bridge between L2s as its fast and reasonable. yet agree should allow bridge swaps in wallet. Fwiw @rainbow does this though sometimes it doesn’t have certain routes.

I use Simpleswap to avoid all bridging. I went from Eth (Base) to Bitcoin and completely avoided bridging
