It'd be great to be able to bridge from Optimism Mainnet to Base without needing to bridge to Ethereum first, directly in the Coinbase Wallet extension

That would resolve a huge barrier to entry for a lot of people. Every time i even think about the cost of doing business on ETH (transaction, bridge fees, etc.) i cringe. Imagine having $100 and half is taken from fees. Not a good sell for normies.
