Throwback to this garden project I did for somebody. The guy has a decent size of land and asked for my help to get a garden growing. Apparently, powerful winds came and destroyed all my hard work (and my investment of time + money):/ I rebuilt the hoop house...fully covered it in poly film, made sure it was staked down with about 50 stakes. When I came back the next week, same thing...Green house was in a pile on the ground about 20 feet from the garden. This time, several of the PVC joints were snapped. Weird, that I found stakes still in the ground in the garden. If the wind picked it up, it would have pulled out the stakes, right? After the second time...I left and never went back. Somebody was sabotaging the project. Pro Tip: Never spend $$$ on any project that: 1) You cannot fully control 2) You are not fairly compensated for 3) Cannot attend to daily

Garden Update: Bought a half cattle panel, cut it in half, then cut a half into quarters to use as a trellis. The cattle panel was only $23...Most places, like Home Depot or Ace Hardware charge, 2x,3x the amount for a "Garden Trellis"...just use cattle panels! Used the half cattle panel to extend my trellis along the fence, for my blackberries and grapes. Using 1 of the quarter panels as a trellis in the hoop house for my cucumbers and eventually the green beans. Have several projects going on so if I accomplish just 1 thing in the garden, I'm OK with that Things are growing well. Using a compost tea/worm casting & leaf extract mixture with chicken manure to water every few days, noticing great growth. Stuff is powerful, maybe I should create a product and sell it. Burned out last summer, my heart wasn't really in it anymore, so I'm pacing myself, being sure to make steady progress. Anyway, hope all are growing something beautiful this Spring!
