For those of you who use a PFP as your bio photo, do you worry you’re establishing a brand identity that is too similar to potentially thousands of other people?

You can select a pfp that aligns with your brand, values. There isn’t one best pfp, there are many. Like changing your hair, clothing etc. Brands evolve.

Yeah. Have the same concern when I meet people face to face. That's why I've scheduled a face tattoo for thursday.

It's a good point and something I hadn't considered. I definitely have a hard time keeping track of all the mutant apes on twitter. Kind of all the same to me.

now that you mention it, I think it is alienating to outsiders. most mutant apes all look the same to me; bored apes are a wee bit more diverse. I can identify people by their creatures but I’m also very active in the community. I’m sure most outsiders can’t tell us apart.

mine's a custom DeFi Friend by Strawberry that I collaborated to create and there are only 84 of them, so no :) https://opensea.io/assets/ethereum/0x495f947276749ce646f68ac8c248420045cb7b5e/52957331311887035027473807432644748246502873594021011677625263980540443230209

Pfps can be used to build a personal brand. I’m using my pfp as a character in my comic book and I dress like her to most of the web 3 events I attend. Everyone identifies me with my pink hair and pfp both both offline and offline. I only collect pink pfps. It’s cool my avatar represents me both online and offline

Nice to see you already on here Mr Bored Elon! As for the question.. Not to be insensitive or disrespectful to anyone, but when I see a PFP of a person, it is just as much similar to thousands if not more. As unique as we all think we are.

Really depends on the NFT and the size of the collection The one I'm "wearing" is fairly recognisable because out of the series it's the only one that's black and white (Blitmap collection of 1700 items)
