Companies should seek to use decentralized platforms more e.g deform instead of google forms. If we don’t use the tech, we cannot expect others to. More importantly, we will lack user empathy to make it better. What are other decentralized alternatives that should be used more?

This is the primary driving reason why I use Farcaster and not Twitter, work on a network to power a discord alternative and not discord, and really dislike using telegram or signal for coordination. We've got so much to build before decentralized alternatives catch up feature for feature but I feel like this decade is the defining one that will pivot a lot of common products to the decentralized plane without most people even noticing — because that's the only way you can make adoption viable if people don't have to think "oh I need to bridge this asset or spend money at all to do X-thing-I-did-for-free-before"

idt you can really expect or depend on companies to use inferior products out of goodwill. companies should use deform if it solves their problem better than google forms

Definitely social media. It’s tough to compete with the network effects of giants like X, TikTok, and Instagram, but if we, as web3 natives, don’t pioneer and blaze the trail, no one else will.
