I'm willing to bet that Utila, an island with 8k population, has more onchain businesses than Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula combined +2.6m population. San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa crypto initiatives have received close to $1M in funding, including conferences that didn't leave a trace of impact. This is called griftocrat math.

Ethereum has a weird way of rewarding people who have free time to sit around and pontificate. You're better off being a keyboard warrior and spam content creator than actually experimenting, iterating, and delivering impact in novel forms. Are other ecosystems the same, or just us?

PSA to Based Builders: Stop preaching to the choir. Your target demographic shouldn't be Jesse, base core, CT and WC. Optimize to convert views and engagement into net new users, builders, and investors. Experiment. Think outside the bubble. Be bold. I'm experimenting with different formats that piggyback on trends. I'm able to do this because I have spent the past 3 months onboarding dozens of businesses with *intention* - not just because Jesse said go onboard people. This groundwork is now allowing me to experiment with social media trends, giving me a higher chance of gOiNg vIrAl 🫠 (that shouldn't be your goal btw). I've grown business and destination social media pages to mid six figures and sold them in a past lifetime. What's the end goal here? Im experimenting on my accounts so I can refine the process and execute with influencers that have massive audiences. CC: @aneri @sarahzorah @xenbh.eth something to consider with non crypro influencer collabs.

I wouldn't have seen that Solana ad without all the knee-jerk reactions from sensitive Ethereans. W for Solana marketing winning over their target demographic and using Ethereans to amplify. L for Ethereum culture being exposed as soft and sensitive.

Serious question: is it possible to be considered a based builder and benefit from universal builder income without all the cult-like pledging, rituals, spam? Some people (like myself) just want to create value because they feel aligned with the mission and vision. I don't want to waste time with all the indoctrination and mental gymnastics. It's difficult to advocate for yourself amidst all the low effort spam and copy pasta work. Feels like I'm playing down to that level if I do. This is one of the causes of stagnation in communities.
