Does saying 'writing' counts as a tool? I think this was the moat important human invention. It allowed us to store state and transcend data through time. And this is what separated us from any other species

He’s why you can by generic screws that fit. The age of precision manufacturing is important for cars, planes and even semiconductors :)

i’d def consider language to be such a tool, even if we don’t know the inventor (guess it was a collective effort xd) it just became the foundation of human cooperation and so of any ensuing invention

Learning. we are what we learnt.. learning is how we transmit knowdledge or info between generation We learn until becomes masters, sometimes takes time, from fire discovery to rockets. We are replicating it on AIs with success... animals learn too. All the Nature "learn" as evolve.
