Okay smth I have observed in SF is that many people wear Patagonia jackets, is this like a trend going or they just prefer this brand? My guess is they are devs working on startups.

Almost required. Many companies give them away so people tend to wear them so much it’s a meme.

Guilty. However I used a seam ripper to take the label off. Looks cleaner and I looked like less of a tech bro. I still have my down vest I bought 10 years ago. One of the few items that stays in my backpack and carry on so far to Latam and Southeast Asia.
