In order for crypto to become the de facto currency for the internet empire, it must be useful to internet citizens in their day-to-day activity on the internet That’s the only way crypto-native assets (ie. not synthetics like fiat stables) will be a viable alternative to USD or any coalition efforts like BRICS

sorry but fiatbacked stables are really useful for our quotidian internet activities in not so developed parts of the world just in the way you allude to. want non-usd native assets that provide it? make them as robust. btw, lit noone takes brics seriously in the brics parts. indeed everyone is hedging with eurodollar.

i agree, and think of usdc as simply a short term bridge to get ppl onchain sooner (before they see the light and fully switch to crypto native assets)

I think right now even getting fiat proxies to stables is a killer use case and a good bridge to a more native currency

For me micropayments make the most sense. With crypto we could literally pay by the second for things. Not possible with fiat.

I don’t think the world really wants a crypto native currency. It’s idealistic - but the reality of a currency being backed by the might of a military is very appealing

Market online gambling, YouTube, or a job hunt type app (like @bountycaster marketed to people who are welcoming to normies) And better yet, leave the whole normie bullshit behind and you’ve got an idea. The more division, the less of a chance for progression.

I honestly don’t see a medium term path to cryptocurrency (non stable) adoption for daily payments Current economies are so very intertwined with nation states and fiat

Are you kidding?? So im not like most here and spend maybe an hr a day in the crypto space so maybe I'm way off but.... I see so many casts about "farming" MOXIE and "low effort" casts even @ehcarpenter getting flaged as a bot for such casts. Saying that getting crypto to be the currency of internet empire it must be useful in the citizens day-to-day activity is so obvious that even my peanut brain knows this. This is such a low effort cast that if I was the overlord of a system that punished low effort casts, that could be argued as farming and or bot activity. Where do I find the rule book cause I'm new and I just want to know that my profile isn't gonna get flaged for sus activity. Please if the one or two people that see this can clarify what is low effort let me know /moxie

This cast got 1600 MOXIE for pointing out something that was obvious like 2013.. @androidsixteen.eth I'm sorry that I'm being so blunt, unfortunately I chose your cast to talk about my opinion. My opinion has NOTHING to do with you personally in any way. Now that I've read my last cast and this one I honestly probably should of gone about this another way it reads like my problem is with ypu and that couldn't be further from the truth. Apologies for the rude tone.
