We don’t know yet, it’s only been in prod for ~2 years

In the absence of long term studies, I’d wish there were more disclosures since mRNA vaccines aren’t yet permitted in cattle or poultry. Swine is the guinea pig for now

Precautionary principle suggests caution as the default approach

Also this line of thinking occludes our focus on animal welfare

You make it out to be a boogeyman but don’t even say what’s wrong about it. I’m supposed to be afraid why? What the actual problem with this in your eyes, or am I just supposed to be default fearful of anything new that isn’t gambletech and ponzis

It is fundamentally about the software “platform” though. The “services” to sequence local pathogens and then produce the vaccine are just input / output

The core is a data analytics platform that allows Merck to ingest a ton of data and serve analytics, including advising the producer what RNA sequence to use in the vaccine

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s billed as a subscription either, SaaS is a great business model

Read through this and it sounds like more of a set of“services” that Merck offers to rapidly generate vaccines, along with a fancy dashboard, bundled into a marketing term, sequivity. 

Saying“software that lets them make…” - that phrasing makes it sound like farmers going wild creating mutant pigs. That is not the case at all here at all.

Why bother eating industrialized pork anyways? They’re treated so poorly before their demise -beaten, tortured and even violated by workers (there are videos online out there showing this). Vaccinated pigs or not, it’s all bad.
