Warming up is essential. Even more on cold days, when your muscles are tight to you body to produce heat. Always warm up.

I warmup everytime. Mostly I start with some minutes on the treadmill just to get my body going and right after I warm up my joints depending on what workout I do that day. But warmup is very important to avoid injuries imo
