6. Most developers who use SIWF seem happy with it (again, room for improvement) because it makes it easy to get users to actually use it, esp. on mobile. 7. The people who seem most upset about it tend to be people who have minimal skin in the game in terms of actively building in the Farcaster ecosystem. 8. We tend to pay much more attention the developers building in the ecosystem than the people who just criticize, don't regularly attend the public dev meetings, etc.

Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. It’s entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If you’re not a definite optimist, you’ve got no chance in making it happen. Even if you’re a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend belief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then it’s just week of week progress and try not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.
