Kind of in nobody's interests to talk about this one. Left don't want to because it helps Trump at the margin. News cycles are tiny in an information saturated environment where news travels extremely quickly. Virtually nothing stays front and center for very long, and things that happened a month or two ago feel like they happened five years ago, because as a practical matter in terms of the impact it’s the same.
