I think there are huge differences but I also don't disagree with the statement. At this point, no one should be shocked. What the LaCivita did to Kerry with the Swift Boat campaign is dirty in a way I'd never seen (I don't claim perfect historical knowledge. I know of some minor Newt Gingrich dirt). But Trump's denial of Barack HUSSEIN Obama's birthplace was a unimaginable new level of evil for me. So Walz riffed on a dumb joke/lie. Are they going to campaign on this? Is there a PAC focused on this? Probably not. That's relative moral high ground to me. Relativity is all we have right now.
