I think it’s a balance, pragmatic optimism

rule #1 of the trenches seems to be: never be an optimist

Not that money is the key to happiness, but I would definitely be happier if I didn’t roundtrip

at this point i’m a round trip guide 

my conclusion is focus on building and learning

the hard path is the safest

Arguably worse to not roundtrip and be a nihilist

think the mantra is now don't believe in anything.

it’s a hard lesson, but grappling with it is a sign of growth
