What are your favorite live cover performances/artists? For me, Annie Clark, who has a long back catalog of very ambitious covers. She now gets called up for halls of fame and awards show tributes (Nirvana, Kate Bush, Prince), but there are some amazing deep cuts from her early career. quarterly thank you note to whomever on the merkle team made the product decision to NOT show recasts on someone's main profile page and instead slotted them to the casts + replies tab (i found a guy on X with great takes but having to scroll through retweets and retweets to find his takes is bad UX)

Impressions from Miami #1 - Tips I went out yesterday to an average restaurant. When it was time to pay the bill (via iPad), the tip options seemed off: 3%, 6%, 9%. I clicked on 9% but paused for a moment. Why were these options so low? I was expecting the standard 10/15/20% maybe even 25% It turns out an 18% tip was already included by default, so this was a second round of tipping. Wtf? I almost ended up tipping 27%!

imo a @hypersub integration for accountability clubs (like @phil's below, @markfishman's /firstdraft) could make channels more like communities. add "join challenge" button to the channel (similar to "pay" button on profile) that subscribes you to the hypersub; private gated groupchat but public content in channel.
